Tony Fadell, the father of the iPod and co-creator of the iPhone, said he would not invest in the metaverse, and the founder and former CEO of Nest Labs said his main concern was the impact of a surge in metaverse investment on climate change.

Tony Fadell believes the world is going through a sacred moment as people grapple with the Covid-19 pandemic. But the metaverse is a bad choice and also has resource implications, and investing in the metaverse is part of those issues.

It is reported that Tony Fadell has established the Future Shape Investment Advisory Fund, which will focus on areas such as carbon management and clean energy.
