Argentines are now finding that P2P (peer-to-peer) markets can be used to maintain or increase their savings in cryptocurrencies and foreign currencies. According to local media reports, more and more Argentines are using P2P exchanges and markets to arbitrage and earn money as P2P cashiers.
Binance’s Latin America operations director, Maximiliano Hinz, said their P2P business grew by 40% in the last month alone. These human traders can buy cryptocurrencies on cheap markets and then sell them on other international markets where demand (and price) is more interesting.
However, this is not inevitable, as P2P cashiers need to manage different payment methods and accounts in order to offer their customers interesting options and get huge spreads on different exchanges.
